Questions about filing petition on both parents

I have a question about how you file your petition on both parents. I know it should be separate but how do you mail it? In separate envelopes too? And separate checks? Or can I mail it in one envelope with 2 different folders and 2 different checks? How will they know that both petition should be together? If I send them separate envelopes? Does it happens that one got their NOA/Packet/interview first than the other or not at all? Do they interview them together? Can you request that both of them should be together during interviews? Or it's up to the consul if he/she wants to interview them together or not? How about in medical test, if one of them has diabetis or high blood pressure, will that grounds for failing the medical test? Do they suggest that they should have their blood pressure or blood sugar manage first or on normal level before they will gave them an interview date? Or is it still the same that they gave you your date for your medical test and interview date? And you can go a week earlier to your medical exam before the assign date?

I haven't yet send in their application, I'm still in the process of gathering infos, steps, experienced and what to expect during the petition so I could prepare and organized all better before giving it a go.

I envision one of those large USPS express mail packages containing two separate envelops, your covering letter, and your check paper clipped to that. Your letter can state that these petitions should not be separated. Arranging the interview will come later, and is up to the consulate.

As to the medicals, the US is concerned only with communicable diseases.

Yes you can file both the petitions in one cover with 2 sets and 2 checks.

You can put a cover letter for each set that lists all the documents that you are sending in. Most of the time they will be processed together and interview will be together. Once the Interview date is set then you can schedule Medicals and blood pressure and diabetes will not affect the applications.....

I sent my parents' applications in one envelope.

I always put a table of contents on the front, and I either staple or clip them per application.
