Well Im feeling a lil better then I was. Damm jet lag is killing me this time around. Its like 5.30am and Im on VJ lol just like when back in Oz. Dan tried to stay up with me but he is now sound asleep on the couch. And the poor darling has hurt his back. Between that and my jetlag (exhaustion) our initial reunion was amiss some hahahaha We overcame it eventually in style and natural painkillers (lust) :innocent:

Heres the quicky version of my trip across.

Flight was great with qantas to the states but the trip itself was gruelling and stressful. Each leg of journey was delayed, it was so hot in Honolulu and LA and despite my layovers I couldnt change my clothes so sweated like a pig (freezing cold when I left Sydney).... my flight from Honolulu was showing departed (without me and others) when it wasnt so that added to it all. United flight from LA to Orlando was dreadful so my feet ballooned even more then they were lol damm these american airlines are crappy. Was so exhausted by the time I got here hence why I couldnt really enjoy the moment as much as I would of liked to. I guess Dan having hurt his back kinda evened things up a little though so I got away with it lol The only good side to the trip other then qantas was that my immigration and customs was as easy as, almost a non event as I was all but stamped and waived through with little required from me.

This is a pretty amazing feeling though being here with Dan again, this time for good. Its a wonderful comfort zone and we are already making plans for our future adventures, both business and personal. Dan threw in his new job :dance: so could spend time with me and so we can make the plans we want to. Life is awesome....he is awesome and I love him very much ..........am so incredibly happy and content.

I do miss my kids and have spoken to them already to let them know I arrived safely. The airport goodbyes where very difficult and I really did try to hold it together for them but my youngest sister lost it so it was all out waterworks across the family. All is good though :yes:

I so cant wait to get my smileys all loaded back on....I feel nekkid :unsure:

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

congrats on the safe trip. i empathize completely on the size issues w/ airplanes, but then again I am 6'7" w/ a 37" inseam. I have to fold up to fit :P

4/03/06 - AOS/EAD/AP package signed & received

4/10/06 - NOA1's received for AOS, EAD and AP via U.S. Mail

4/11/06 - All 3 checks cashed / $745.00 poorer but worth every penny

4/27/06 - Receive Biometrics appointment letter scheduled for 5/11/06

5/11/06 - Biometrics completed

6/02/06 - Receive notice that AOS only has been transferred to California to speed things along

6/07/06 - E-mail that AOS received in California

6/13/06 - Welcome letter mailed by California... yeah baby

6/17/06 - Official welcome letter received and card will arrive within 3 weeks
