Another Stupid Mistake

We have discovered that I may have made a mistake with my husband's G-325a on the CR1 application. There was one job he had for a very short time (like days) right after he graduated from the university. In fact, he was never paid. We debated back and forth as to whether or not we should put it down because he doesn't have any evidence that he had that job. We decided to err on the side of caution and unfortunately I had two documents on my computer one with the job and one without. When I printed off the documents to send a copy of the application to my husband he got a copy of the one I did not intend to send. Unfortuneately I am not sure now which one I did send in, the one with or the one without. It doesn't really matter to us which one it is but he is very concerned about making sure he knows all of the info that's there.

Initially I told him that if in the next steps they ask him for his job history to just put everything down and if I ended up sending the wrong one that he could just explain I made a mistake. The problem is my husband is very worried. He met someone recently who was denied a visa on a fiance application because the birthdate was wrong and so he's really, really concerned. I'd just sleep easier knowing we could correct it.

Is this something we should worry about? If so, what can we do?

Thanks everyone!

I know it seems to matter, but I don't think it will. I was never asked anything about anything I put on that form. The only issue you have now, is if you need to submit another working history, you run the risk of filling in different info...

You REALLY should be keeping copies of everything you send. Such as hitting 2 copies when printing as you're doing it so you know FOR SURE that you have a copy of EVERYTHING and not that you've forgotten to reprint something. That might not help now but for future reference it might be helpful.

OOO I just found something helpful on my computer. Right click the document that you WANTED to send, but that you didn't send to your fiance. Click "details" and there are details there INCLUDING "last printed" (well on my vista it does). HOPEFULLY the date there is the same date as when you printed the documents initially. If it's NOT, then it means that you must have sent the same one that you re-printed for your fiance. This will only work if you printed the documents on different days, or at different times.

Once you figure this out, I would delete the copy that you don't want so this never happens again.

Good luck! Hope that helps :D

Thanks for the reply. Wow, one thing Vista is good for!!! Unfortunately I don't have it. Fortunately, I think I figured it out so I won't need it. Thanks again!
