My rfe was on the DS230 residence gap, Police clearance and the BC's/MC of my parents. I sent back DS230 form completed, mom's new police clearance and their original BC & MC fr NSO. Btw, do you know how much the delivery fees (air21) for visa after approval?

Mooninlove, what was wrong with your mom's police clearance? How long is a police clearance valid for? Did you also send FBI clearance in addition to the police clearance?

Thanks!

There's nothing wrong with it but since I am resending her DS230 part1, I send along her original Police Clearance and NBI Clearance. I actually sent a scanned copy before the RFE but not really readable. They said her DS230 has "residence gap" which I didn't see, rather than arguing on the phone about it, I might as well resend it. I'm not sure how long the Police Clearance is valid for..

I'm not sure if they're exempted if they're of senior age, but the seminar is required for emigrants/immigrants. It is usually a one day seminar then a sticker of CFO is placed onto the passport. Maybe someone knows better about this matter and reply to your question..

According to my mom, they only asked questions about my job, when I got married, when I moved to Canada and I moved to the US, my wife's job and the reason why I was late registered, etc.

I told my parents to bring a picture album from last year (as per advice from a member here) when we went back home for our vacation. The consul went through all our pictures and asked questions about the pics.

Anyhow, my parents live in Bulacan and was told that it will take 10 business days for their visa to arrive.

Is this normal?

Thanks to everyone!

To mooninlove, how many days did your parents wait to get the medical done? Is it still long waiting time? I remember that it took me 2 days to get it done even though I went there very early(6am). Thanks!

mom and dad went to their medical on jan4-5. they're done by 10am jan5 after receiving the stamp on their interview notice, cd xray and immunization results. At that time they were there, it's just my parents getting the stamp from the guard while there's a long line for those who are required to undergo yet another test or something. My dad told me there's this woman who was required to check for sputum test & psychiatric test. thank God both of my parents are cleared and ready for their interview this monday..

@kukubearus:

When someone go for Sputum test at St.Lukes , it doesnt mean that they have TB. It might cause that the X-ray film result is a little too

dark or light due to exposure or something.My parents went for Sputum test at St. Lukes because they said that they saw a scar on the lungs.

with this result ,the interview for my parents in the USEM was delayed for 2 months ,fortuntely by the grace of god ,the result was negative

and to be clear, we dont have any history of TB.My parents done their interview last december 21 and passed.They be bound to U.S this

coming 22 january via Philippine Airlines Manila-LAX for just US$576 each All-in except travel tax which is 750pesos each.

my parents live in olongapo city and I belive that bulacan is more nearer than gapo from manila,their passport with visa arrive after

just two working days along with all the documents my sister submitted during processing.you can call AIR21 and ask about your parents

documents but be sure you have the tracking number ready.The tracking number is a 12 digit number at the upper right of the receipt.

@Donprobre:

WOw, that is cheap. Unfortunately, PAL doesn't fly in the east coast.

Regarding my parents' visa delivery, I told them that it should arrive in 2-3 days as per the threads that I read here.

I was about to take a shower this morning to go to work when I got a call from my Mom to let me know that they received it!

Thanks all!

And oh, congrats Donporbre.
