I have a quick question sorry if this has been asked before.

My co sponser sent me there tax returns, w2's ect but he filed his taxes joint with his wife but she dose not make money.

So dose she need to fill out a I-864A even if he has enough to support my husband and his family?

thanks

and also on the wiki page it says for the example of the cover sheet

2008 Federal Tax Return, W2 and 1099INT, 1099DIV of

2007 Tax Transcript

2006 Tax Transcript

I Have the Federal Tax Return, W2 and 1099INT, 1099DIV for 2006-2008 is that the same as tax transcrips? Thanks!

Some VJ members who have recently been granted visas have said that the CO's are looking to be sure that cosponsor's spouses are aware when one is acting as a sponsor.

So it wouldn't hurt to have the wife execute an I-864A. If it's not needed, no harm. IF the CO would like then it could save an blue slip/RFE.

Transcripts are obtained from the IRS. If you submit transcripts then the tax returns, W2's, 1099's are not needed.

Well i have the Transcripts and the the W2'S and everything

The cosponser wife is listed but she dose not work so if she filed a I-864A she would just put UNEMPLOYED and 0 income..... I finnaly got the co-sponsers packet and he has helped others with co-sposer so i think ill be fine without sending his wifes I864 A

but so on the Cover Sheet i should put

2008 Federal Tax Return, W2 and 1099

2007 Federal Tax Return, W2 and 1099

2006 Federal Tax Return, W2 and 1099

Is that correct?
