Congrats, Ek!

A note about the domiciles - I'm glad I'm moving home then. :(

Yeah, it's clearly for the best Mal, as unfortunate as that is.

But look at the bright side...you'll be in Florida in winter, and your hubby should be joining you within a couple of months, most likely. :)

Thanks for pushing your wife to do a review, Ek. Any info is helpful, trust me!

But, grain of salt time - we don't know if those folks that were denied have any idea what they need for proof of domicile.

Hi Eklondon,

Congratulations on passing your interview, and thanks for sharing about that experience here on vj...

Lol..Hope they wern't too overwhelmed that day, approving your entire family's many visas!

What a great holiday present it is, to have your family home, here in the USA! Meaningful, indeed!

Good luck with the rest of your journey too! Enjoy your flight back home!

Ant

P.S. Stupid question...But what exactly is Proof of Domicile? (I have no idea...I've never been to the cousulate or gone through this process...)

Approved

3 hours,

2 others were declined because unable to prove domicile.

Over the phone quick review

In line by 6.45, no others arrived till 7.15

Scary Security guards

Not supposed to tell  , after being approved, the lovely lady asked my wife to return at 3pm and they might be processed *wink wink*

Visas in hand!

Booking ONE WAY flights for Monday.

The true meaning of Home for the Holidays!

Well, sounds like you have nothing left to do.

You can apply for citizenship in 3 years, I think.

But since you came in on IR1 and 2, you have 10 year green cards. Either you file for citizenship or just keep renewing the card every 10 years.

Congrats!
