We are so close now. My wife, 3 kids, my mom, and her husband are piling into the van for their 8 hour drive from London, Ontario to Montreal for their interviews early tomorrow morning. Tammy was so nervous last night, and the kids had a hard day again as they had their last day of school before they move. It's sad to see your kids sad as they say bye to all their friends. It tears me apart having to do this to them. Hopefully we will get a review, but no guarantees.

I'm sure it will be fine ek - sorry to hear that your wife is so nervous - there really is no need for her to be, in general the people at Montreal are really nice (i'm sure you have told her that a hundred times and it doesn't help :) )

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

good luck!! Was 5 yrs ago today I left Greenwood NS with my U-haul enroute to Arlington VA!! Time flies! good luck

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
