My Fiancee went for her interview this morning but only saw the prescreener that said she needed an NBI Clearance with her AKA because she was once married. The letter said she would be contacted by the embassy telling her when to return. She said their were other people there with the same problem but they still gave them their interview but she didn't get one. Has anyone had this happen to them and if so, how long does it take to hear from the embassy and get your next interview? I didn't know if I could just call the embassy and reschedule or if I had to wait on them? She is really devistated but if anyone can give me any answers I would certainly appreciate it. That's the first time that I have heard of asking to come back for alias NBI clearance without the interview.

Others were given the interview and a white slip for administrative process and review because of the lacking document....Meanwhile I suggests you complete the said requirement from NBI clearance so that you will be ready when they contact you or may need to follow it up.

I was once married and got my NBI clearance both maiden name and married name...Hope she will have her turn soon...Besides it's better that she have another schedule for interview and once she has all the necessary requirements PINK SLIP will reign!!!!!!!!

01/05/10 - Visa on Hand

01/16/10 - POE Seattle Tacoma airport, WA

02/03/10 - Received SSN

03/09/10 - 2nd year Anniversary

04/12/10 - AOS, EAD, AP Application Submitted

04/14/10 - USCIS received package(AOS application)

04/22/10 - got email notification receipt number

04/24/10 - Received hard copy I-797 notice of action (AOS, EAD, AP)

04/30/10 - Biometrics notice thru mail

05/11/10 - Biometrics Appointment
