Dont worry for now we had our interview 9/25/09 and was put on AR, and was approved 12/21/09. I think it is to soon to contact senators, but I will give you the fax #s for the fraud unit. I faxed everyday after the month the USEM told us to wait. AR happens everyday, I know it is easy for me or anyone else to say "dont worry" We too felt the sameway when it happen to us....but it is not as bad as it is.....

Thanks my friend. Your case took 3 months in AR, that was long.. I wish mine wouldn't take that long or even longer... :crying:

So joe.. what was the reason why your case was put into AR? Did they ask for any documents?

I wonder for the others who experienced being in an AR if they were told to submit some docs? And I read something about verification of documents. So by the time we submitted our docs it means to say that they havent scrutinized it yet?

As I stated earlier.. they didnt put anything. The white paper.. which is a size of the whole bond paper...

they just check

_ WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US....

no check at all above.. they didnt put check what doc/docs.. as in nothing... that's why im confused now.. and left super clueless

hi, i had a white paper before too..no check in any box with "wait until you hear from us" and i was approved. they just need to check your documents.. that is what my CO said to me after my intertview. dont worry..you will be approve..enjoy christmas with your family while you are there. Good luck. :)

Really Nelly? I hope you can share with me your experience with this. How long did you wait for their letter?

i got my visa and passport after 2 months because i was not be able to pay the "docs. verification fee". i had no idea during that time that i need to pay for it. so, it toke 2 months for me. try to call them if they still allow applicant to contact them. before only the petitioner is allowed to call, pero ako mismo tumatawag swerte ko nalang sinasagot nila ako kasi minsan di ka nila i-intertain. advice mo nalang fiance mo to call them. mabait sila pag petitioner ang mag follow-up. good luck to u. dont worry too much..just pray..ako nag novena ako sa lahat ng mga santo...kaya answered prayer lahat. :) tc.

I don't think there's docs verification fee anymore.

I am very happy for those who passed and received their visas. Yet Im so sad about my situation. I still wonder if someday I can read my own testimonial here saying.. " WOW I GOT MY VISA ALREADY! " :cry2: :cry2:

After giving it some thought, do you now have any regrets with how you answered the CO in the interview? It might be worth spending some of your time right now to think of how you could have handled the situation better so that in future, you'll have a more positive outcome.

Steve

your making her out that is is at fault. Sounds like this guy is a bitter old man. I think she did find and I do not think in any other way. Even she did some things differnt I think it would be the same result. I think he is a bitter person and very rude and has very bad costomer skills. I can tell the way she describe him he was sour face right from the begining.

Take care

It's not so much about fault as it is about a break down of communication. I generally regard somebody in that position to be highly qualified in what they do. That may not be true in reality, but my initial approach is that I will respond to them as if they do in fact know what they are talking about, particularly knowing that they have the authority to decide on my case. Arguing with a CO is like arguing with a cop. It's fruitless. I'm sorry that she had a bad experience, but IMO, he was merely doing his job.

Why don't you give us more information on what happen exactly. Why did he call you a lair and what question did he ask you? Be specific.

This is my thought too ...

It seems that she is leaving a large part of the story out ...

What was it that she is being accused of not being truthful about ???

It seems to me ... there is nothing wrong with her documents or none missing ... the interviewer suspects something ... the fact he called her a liar says he believes something is suspect and I would imagine the "review" is to investigate his suspeicion further ...

If the original poster can please provide more information about why you were called a liar ... maybe things will make more sense to the readers here and better advice can be given ...
