I just had my interview this morning for K1 visa. My most awaited one. I had mine at 8:00 Am at window 29. The guy was a good looking one, but behind that gorgeous face was a horrible character. I know that their job is to scrutinize people, but wasn't expecting him to call me a liar where in fact I said all truth and nothing but the truth. I just don't understand what went wrong. Docs were all good and complete.. Questions were answered honestly. What more should I say? And when my name was called at the counter 37, the pinoy guy told me my case is for further review. They didnt say if i am denied or approve. Im so nervous that I wanna die now. Like my whole world and dream to be with my fiance all vanished. But my loved ones said, you said all truth and we don't know yet what will be their decision about it. But I don't want to hold on anymore. My dreams were all shattered and felt so humiliated.

I just want to know if this case really happens? I am now praying hard..really hard.. that somehow God will listen to me and hoping it'll be approved. Or will I ever have another interview? I don't like another humiliation from a consul.

Is there anybody here who has the same case? Or experienced same thing? Why do they need further review? Where all i said were true and honest. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

You must be heartbroken! Not knowing what's going on is very frustrating. You mentioned that the CO said you were a liar? About what? "my case is for futher review" sounds like you're in Administrative Review. Did they give you any slips? I don't know if they're just doing more background checks or if they require more information. Not sure from your posting.

Your dreams are NOT shattered...have your fiance in the US immediately send an email to the Consulate and ask them what's going on with your visa. They might be more clear about what's expected from you/him.

I'm sorry you had a bad interview. I don't know the advice because I haven't had my interview yet. I think I read on these forums somewhere that some people got the "under review" or whatever after the interview it wasn't an outright denial. I don't know your answer right now but I would say to keep some hope about the situation and trust in God for his guidance through whatever you need to do.

You're fine as long as they did not return your passport... You're case will just be reviewed...Sometimes they do that if they see something wrong even a very little thing... Hang in there, one of these days your visa will be in your hands already...Hoping it will be too soon...

You're fine as long as they did not return your passport... You're case will just be reviewed...Sometimes they do that if they see something wrong even a very little thing... Hang in there, one of these days your visa will be in your hands already...Hoping it will be too soon...

Thanks.. yeah i heard if you're denied.. they will return the passport. But im way too scared. First, I dont want another interview if ever. I hope if there's some docs to pass i hope i'll just pass it. I had a trauma i guess. I just want to disappear.. All i want is to be with my fiance. And our relationship is genuine. I don't know why that guy insisted on things that weren't true.

Some people in the waiting area told me... " you shouldn't answer him. Instead, you should've shut up and just nod." but i told them, why should i? I know what i was saying was true. It was him who was bluffing about the site. and putting words in my mouth and jumping to wrong conclusions without even giving me the chance to say more about it.

I am so sorry to hear about the interview experience you had today.......I know it's really frustrating especially when answers are unknown...on the slip that they gave you is there any mark as to which is under review????.....

I had my interview today as well but got under AP/AR as expected because I still have a missing document which is my Japan police cert.....Our petition was denied with USCIS but we stood up and appealed...So hang in there....and the Lord will guide us.....

you are not denied unless they return your passport just give them couple of weeks some under Administrative Review got their passport after 2 to 4 weeks

I would really appreciate if they did mark what docs they need to review or what docs i need to present again... but there's none.. wow... I wonder what made him put me on an AP/AR. . . I read some of your opinions here... l hope it's not true.. like CO's put you on AR already before you enter the room. Well, I guess, it's quite possible.. because the way he swayed the conversation led to that really.. no matter how strong my argument was... still he was putting more bluffs there then posing a poker face.

I just hope mine wont take that long. My fiance and I was actually planning to get married at least Feb. It's our bday on Feb. Me on the 22nd and him on the 23rd. And if the AR will take that long.. geez Im thinking now if we can still be together and get married by 2010? sigh
