Does anybody know how long does it take to be under AR for submission of non NSO birth certificate. I personally went to Pasay city already and requested NSO issued Birth Certificate, they told me they will send it directly to the US embassy the same day if not the following day. When should I expect embassy to call me?

Do not have answer for you. We got white slip for NBI and Cenomar so we are in AR also. Wife took care of the NBI and the cenomar. Her birth certificate had her last name misspelled and had been corrected 25 years ago. We sent in certified corrected B/C but they wanted also an NBI and Cenomar with that last name. She went back to the USEM the same day with new NBI and the Cenomar is supposed to be there tomorrow. How long we have to wait to get out of AR I do not know. She gave back the white slip and they took her passport. She is going to call tomorrow and at least once or twice a week to see. It is the only thing that is holding us up. I would not wait for them to call you.

hello there...i can offer u the tel. # of USEM ..02 301-2000 local 5184# or 5185#... the information they give u is more accurate than the 1-900 or 1-800 #s....try to dial this # and ask for ur case status....it helped me...i was under AR coz of medical report

*interview date- 12/4/09..

*med. report confirmed/received 12/9/09

* called that # and ask about my case status - visa approved same day med. report was turned in 12/9/09

* called the next day and said visa was delivered 12/10/09

*visa received - 12/12/09

although it was fast for me and my other friends who were also under AR but i think it depends on how fast u can comply with the missing dox they needed from u...the later ull submit, the more it will delay....thats my own opinion

good luck guys...ull never know, .maybe the adjudicating consular officer is already reviewing ur case or has approved ur visa and is ready for delivery...but give them at least 6-10 days....

god bless

im curious ...does NSO send dox to USEM like in ur case??i thought, we can only request for the Live Birth and as soon as we have it, we personally submit the papers to USEM...btw,,with that # i gave, u can call using ur landline and cheaper but first call NSO to confirm if they really sent the dox and if so, u can already call the embassy

ME.. I had a horrible interview today people.. The docs were all good they didnt really have further questions about it. The consul was really nasty to me and insisted that I wasnt telling the truth where in fact all the things I said were all TRUE. God, I felt like dying now and my dreams are all shattered leaving me so clueless. They said, my case needs further review. And I don't know if i'm denied or approved or if i'll have another interview. I just don't have any ideas what will happen next in this kind of thing.

Someone pls enlighten me. And how long will it take them to send me their decision. I am very nervous now. Im feeling like i can never be with my love one. I just find myself in pain and was feeling dreadful about the whole thing. This is an early horrible Xmas gift.

:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying::cry2:

There is no preset timeline for AR or AP. It all depends upon when your information can be reviewed by the Consulate Officer (CO). The process of waiting and not knowing is frustrating. You can try to call 02 301-2000 local 5184# or 5185, but most likely you will be told this number is for USC only to call.

My daughter who is 7 yrs.old was accompanied by my mom to have her interview last Dec.1. They gave her a white slip to submit all her school transcripts from nursery since my mom just brought the latest one. Aside from that, they gave her a paper saying that is to be attached to the application of cenomar at NSO pasay. They want my cenomar so mom went straight to NSO pasay after the interview and it was NSO told her that they are the one who will bring the cenomar to USEM. She dont need to come back and pick it up. All the documents asked in the white slip are already submitted. I can't find a way to know if my cenomar is already at the USEM. So we are waiting until now......i'll do follow up after 4 weeks.

Claudeth was placed on missing document hold because she forgot to get a translation of of her German police report. Once the embassy received the translation she had the visa 4 days after that. I hope this will work the same for you because it sounds like you are a missing document hold too.

Now the big thing is how long with it take the NSO to get the certification the the embassy. If it were me, I would get the document in my hot little hands and deliver it to the appropriate window personally.

Good luck

after the interview they provided a letter addressed to NSO with parents, address, case number and other pertinent info... brought it personnally to NSO at Pasay, when we got there, the employeed that helped us seemed like she already know what was going on, we then filled out a form and they said that they will forward the Birth Certificate themself... same day if not the following day.
