My wife sent me her 4 signed copies of the G-325a. This is from the pdf so all answers are typed in. The only hand writing is her signature and date.

She missed the question about Former Husbands or Wives (If None, so state) and left it blank. She has never been married before.

Is this a problem? I know it clearly says if none, so state, but will this be an issue to leave it blank or should N/A be hand written in there?

Also at the bottom ..and sorry if this is stupid question, but where it says" "This for is submitted in connection with an application for:"

I am guessing that would be "Status as Permanent Resident", but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks

Mark

I have a another question.

Is our marriage contract enough for the Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage?

We don't have any property together or joint accounts.

I can't put her on any accounts until she has a SSN.

Will the MC be enough at this stage?

Thanks for your help.

on the question about former husbands Put NONE, not n/a ... N/a is used only if a question does not apply and this question applies to your wife is just that the answer is NONE.

For evidence of Bonafide marriage you can also send

a couple of Pictures of the two of you

copies of Phone bills showing frequent communication bet the 2 of you

Copies of boarding passes and itineraries

some e-mails the two of you have sent each other

These can be used to complement primary evidence such as your Marriage Cert and Copies of all pages of your american Passport.

*Remember that your Marriage cert only shows that you are married, it does not say anything about the intentions of the two of you. At the interview stage this is when it is important that you guys show the good faith of your relationship, the first stage is to look at your docs and do FBI checks

A marriage certificate MIGHT be enough evidence - it was for us, but some people need more documentation.

Thanks everyone. I think I will take safe route and send some extra evidence.

I forgot to ask about two other boxes on the form.

On the top right is a box that reads "File Number A_______"

and on the bottom right where you print your name

"Alien Registration Number A ________"

What do we need to fill in here?

Thanks again

Sorry for all the posts here

I do have a new question..I just want to make sure before I send this off.

My wife who I am trying to bring here, when she fills out her G-325a, where it says "Applicants last address outside the United States of more than 1 year"

I am assuming she is to put her current address(which she has been at over a year) in there even though the question right above asks her residence of the last 5 years..

Is this correct?

Thanks again
