I hope no one minds me chiming in but that is a great song, I love the Gin Blossoms (from Scottsdale Arizona) first album, "New Miserable Experience"!

Furthermore and I hope no one thinks I am bragging, after all this thread is asking for people with approvals from CSC well today it came in the form of an email!

Like I said before I was making a joke out of the other threads about this topic... you can go look at those if you need to.

I think it's pretty rediculous that those who were approved were called trolls so I was trying to lighten things up a little bit.

And what am I trying to rub in?

Why would I try to rub something in?

I took offense to the name calling of those who were approved and I don't think there's anything strange about that. I was making fun once again of how rediculous it was that approvals were not believed due to the "newbie" status of those approved at CSC.

You don't need to insult my sense of humor, thank you.

Good luck to all of you

You're right I cannot imagine how difficult this waiting is due to IMBRA but realize that I have never said anything mean or rude or whatever to those waiting and I have no reason to in the first place. I have only said things to the few who have made it clear that they flat out think people are lying about their approvals.

I wish you all fast approvals.

Sarah

ps. C ongrats!!!!! This is great news for you. I like the gin blossoms too!

If that is indeed the case, then why are you posting it in this thread?

The question of weather those people may have been a troll is a logical one. Why you ask? Simple, it is very easy for anyone to come to this website and see the immense emotional vulnerability, and sensitivity people here have right now in regards to the CSC. A troll typically writes up posts to stir up trouble, and or give people false hope. So it is easy to see why some questioned a first time poster that just happened to get a CSC approval with an April NOA1.

So because you took offense to this, you decided it would be a good idea to basically slap everyone still waiting for a CSC approval in the face by posting a song about jealousy, and then try to pass it off as humor? Well then, I can certainly see a Nobel Peace Prize or Humanitarian Award with your name on it in the not so distant future for your terrific work.

As for insulting your sense of humor, I think it is more your lack of judgment, and poor taste. You said yourself you took "offense" to people being called possible trolls. When someone has been offended, they don't do something to lighten the offender up. When someone offends me, I don't crack a joke to make them laugh, I strike back just as you did (and hense as I am striking back at you because you have offended me... see I'm not exactly trying to make you laugh am I?). But rather than call out and address the people who offended you individually, you managed to cover everyone waiting on the CSC. Sorry your excuse that it was just to lighten things up makes zero sense.

You want to "lighten things up" try telling a joke, or put a positive spin on something negative such as the CSC fiasco. Don't throw salt in many open wounds and expect anything less than harsh criticism for your poor judgement and taste.

Congratulations on the NOA2.

I would agree with Erik on the troll issue. I read every thread and am in the same position and we at CSC are vulnerable and sensitive. Just let it go and let's all make up and support each other. Our goals are the same. Sometimes people make mistakes, but creditiability of posts is important and we have seen many trolls in the past related to IMBRA.

Good luck everyone.
