do you have the actual visa in your hands? 221g is a statement usually requiring additional information, and will tell you on the form what information is needed.

212g is for a conditional residency visa. so the annotation on your passport approval will serve as your 1 year temporary card in United States while waiting for the actual 2 year green card. :star: but dont worry ...

Lost Girl... Nope... Sorry, you are giving incorrect information.... you are thinking of the 551g... THAT is the stamp for conditional residency.... The 212g is actually this;

This is about the Waiver of Excludability for Immigrants. If the immigrant visa applicant is otherwise admissible, the consular officer will stamp the waiver field in the upper right-hand corner of the immigrant visa, Form OF 155A, with the notation "212(g)(2)(A), (B), or ©," as applicable. Note that the Attorney General has delegated to the Department of State the authority to grant waivers under section 212(g)(2)(A) and (B) of the Act, based on the panel physician's certification on the vaccination supplement to Form OF 157. The same annotation is printed on your immigrant visa which is to be verified by the officers at the US port of entry with your medical report.

A prospective immigrant arriving with a Class ''A'' medical condition for which a Section 212(g) waiver has been granted, or who has a Class ''B'' condition (for tuberculosis, not active, or leprosy, noninfectious), will have a stamp reading ''Class A or B(T)'' appearing in the ''USPHS'' block of Form OF-155 (FS-511). Whenever such an alien has not been inspected by a Public Health Service Officer, the immigration inspector shall examine the accompanying medical report, compare it with the comments in the ' 'USPHS'' block of the immigrant visa and attach it securely to the visa. Likewise, the immigration inspector shall examine the visa page of the passport of a nonimmigrant for the notation ''MED.''

You may want to read this in full, but it's quite lengthy:
