Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

First of all, congratulations. Second, all the documents that you submitted to NVC will be waiting for you at the embassy on the day of your interview. In my case, I took the originals of BC,MC and CEMAR with me just to be safe and photocopies of the NVC documents. I think I read before that your birth certificate was corrected so I would suggest to bring NBI clearance with whatever name you have on your birth certificate. That's what I did that's why my visa was not delayed. I submitted NBI to NVC with my corrected name and I had another NBI with my mispelled name on my interview. The CO was impressed. He didn't believe me at first. He thought what I had was the same NBI that I submitted to NVC until I showed him. He said that normally, when he ask people to submit another NBI, they would say they have it and they would give him the same document. It's all up to you. Just relax, as I have said there's nothing to be nervous about. If you're real and you have the proof to support your case, you will do fine. It's not as scary as most people thought. Goodluck Lee :)

Hi, I don't think you still need to get another NBI if your name on the NBI you sent to NVC is complete and correct. I submitted my original NBI to NVC and I didn't request another NBI my interview is Jan. 4, 2010. Good Luck for all of us, lets continue praying.
