my husband went for interview on nov 6, 2009 and we had to return the medical back to the us embassy, well we did that and they said that we will call you when the case is complete. Well on yesterday the embassy called my husband and told him he should come to the embassy with his passport, when he get to the embassy on today and they hand him a letter stating that they were sorry that they could not issue a visa because he found ineligible and they said that nvc has requested that his case be returned back to the uscis. They gave him no reason why they asked for it either. Can someone tell me what does this mean when uscis ask for your case to be returned???

Call the NVC or DOS and tell them what happend and ask them why because he never got a paper or information stating why. They should have given him a paper explaining it. I think calling them to find out is the best idea.

I would absolutely call the NVC or DOS tomorrow and ask them. Explain to them what the embassy told you and see what they say. Hopefully this will give you some insight on what to do next.

I am sorry that this has happened to you. Don't give up hope, it isn't over.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

Have him scan you the letter and see what is checked . They are required to explain what the visa isn't issued. Someone knows the trick is fining out who.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

They tell the petitionee why they are denying him. They usualy say that the marriage is for immigration purposes or they do not have enough proof.

It will state on their denial form.

It states on the denial form that uscis requested the case to be returned to them, there is no other reason for denial!!!
