So this morning I received a txt msg from USCIS saying that my 1-129F has been approved. Now I am wondering what I should do? I know i should get things ready to send to him, but I am wondering do i have to call the NVC to see if they have my case and they are going to be forwarding it to Riyadh? My fiance lives in Jeddah does that mean he will often to take trips to Riyadh to pick up the packages? I am really confused. Please help me.

Thank you

Congratulations on the approval...

To help you in the right direction - you are on Step 4 on the K-1 Flowchart , it gives you an idea of the next steps and about when to expect them. Also the bottom portion of the K-1 Guide has some useful information as well.

You can email the embassy and ask them generally how they process applications/petitions. They might tell you what forms your fiance need to fill out and you/he can download them from online and have him get everything ready. You the petitioner also need to send your fiance completed I-134, all the originals of copies you sent to USCIS, plus evidence that your relationship is still going from the time you sent the I-129F till the interview day. Also he needs to get his medical done, you can check the embassy website for places to go to. He also need to get police clearance from the appropriate authorities in Riyadha.

Good luck

Shabz,

The petitioner can call NVC and give them your USCIS reciept number and ask them for the "Case Number" just so you have it. Also, you can ask them any other questions, once they enter your petition into your questions such as "Has your case been sent to the Embassy?" etc... Write your case number down so you know how to inquire with the embassy. Once NVC tells you yes, your petition has been sent to the Embassy, you can follow up with the embassy...

Congrats on your approval!
