My thread seems to have been accidentally locked, closing down all open discussion. I fixed it for you.

So my actual complaint seemed to have been lost in the subtlety. I wasn't complaining so much about the thread being hidden, since I didn't see the original thread anyway. What I was complaining about was SUPERMOD zipping in, deleting a post with ZERO explanation, and zipping out again. No explanation as to why the post was closed, yet I was under the distinct impression that mods were supposed to be citing WHY the thread was being closed. "Less than helpful" is not a TOS citation. It's like a policeman giving you a ticket for "not being a nice driver."

I posted publicly because you said you don't mind having these conversations in the open. Also (shhhh!) I think Kathryn likes me.

If a post is "less than helpful" it should remain in the thread. If its a TOS violation, the Junior Woodchuck Mod should state "TOS violations have been removed".

P.S. I also heard Kathryn like Mox, though gawd knows why.

One thing I'll give ya, mox.. your titles are always good for a chuckle.

ps. The newly revamped contact us process is quite good. I've used it twice with good results.

I have no doubt the new process will disregard my complaints much more efficiently and in record time.

I have lost complete faith that any member of the moderation team will be held accountable for any but the most egregious offenses. And since the administration and moderating team believe that the moderating team has been behaving appropriately (yes there have been mistakes made somewhere by somebody at some time but they are volunteers and work hard so are infallible just like the Pope!!!), then there really shouldn't be a problem with me pointing out random examples of how awesome they are.

My alternate title idea was "Those Gosh-Darned Junior Woodchuck Brownie Mods--SUCH SCAMPS!!!"

I am not a mod and I am asking that you not reopen threads just to stir the pot. A mod and myself asked you to follow a review process for your concerns first and you have chosen to ignore that request. You did not even try. Seriously, you did not try. Use the contact form, open a ticket, I will review if there is a problem. If you must post here then do so only after you have bothered to even give the review system a chance.

You must think that ignoring my request to use the official review process as a first step will result in my action being more swift. I try to give people some slack and will reply other places but I ask them next time to use the ticket system. It has undergone a large improvement and honestly it works much more efficiently than other methods. Ignoring my request will not get you the results you are trying to get. Neither will baiting me.
