I'm thinking they won't do that as they are re-balloting the vote....which can't happen until January at the earliest!

I think I'm going to send the judge a christmas card.

Now I see the baggage handlers are striking tomorrow. bah humbug!

I think it's only certain airlines which are affected - Turkish and Emirates are two I can think - together with KLM/Air France. I don't think it will affect US carriers or BA.

His flight is tomorrow so fingers crossed! He is checked in and it says on time but they delayed and cancelled a lot today. I was looking at photos and I cant believe what a lousy job they do clearing the roads. Grit as they call it (sand as we call it) doesnt help if you are throwing it atop unplowed snow! Here we get snow and life goes on a susual and there it's like life screetches to a halt but it doesnt snow as much on a regular basis. Just our luck it came now!

I'm so looking forward to this week I hope he gets here safely.

Hope you have a nice Christmas!

A friend of mine was visiting from Orlando Dec 11 - 22....her flight home was delayed by 11 hours *grimace* ironically it wasn't our weather, but the weather in New York where the inbound flight was originating from. Rotten luck. 11 hours in Manchester airport - it could only be worse if it had been Leeds Bradford.

I fly out with BA on Jan 7th to see my boy so I'm watching the IR situation very carefully...there's no way they can turn around a new ballot before then though, so I'm hopeful.

Obviously if they decide to strike on the 17th and delay my return to the UK for a few days that's absolutely fine ;)

Hope everybody's Christmas plans went according to plan!!
