Hi

I am flying to Phoenix next month, but am thinking of going through JFK in the hope of getting a temp Ead stamp..I just want to confirm that if i do that, JFK will be my POE as i will go through there before i go on to Phoenix...can anybody tell me if i am correct please?

Not with the insufficient information that you provided.

Where are you starting from and are you going through any other airport before JFK? (There are US CBP pre-clearance operations in Ireland and Canada.)

I will be going from the UK to Phoenix...first stop off will be JFK but only if there is a chance of me getting an Ead stamp, if just passing through there will not give me that then i will go directly from the UK to Phoenix

Excellent chance at JFK. Be sure to check your I-94 and passport before leaving the immigration desk to be sure that you've got your EA stamp. If you don't ask for it. If you're not sure, ask them to point it out to you.
