Need to change address of Beneficiary

Good Morning,

I filed an I-130 for my Step-Son, and just received the receipt notice. We just realized that I put the wrong address for my step-son. My first question is how do I change his address in the system to make sure USCIS, NVC, and the Consulate all have the same correct address. Do I need to send a letter, do it online, or call? Also if I need to send a letter where do I send it? I sent our original application to Chicago, since we are in PA.

You can do it through the USCIS website. It will make the change in the system and you will be able to verify again when it gets to NVC to be sure that it is correct at that stage of the game it is so much easier talking to NVC or DoS IMO.

Thanks for the linkb, but I don't believe I can change the beneficiary's address online using the link provided. It allows you to change the petitioners address and the beneficiary's address if they are already living here. I went thru as if it was for the Non-US citizen. The next screen asks you I am in the U.S. as a blank. ANother question section last port of entry into the U.S.

Has anyone changed the address of the beneficiary of a case that is still pending at USCIS?

Just wanted to let you know how you need to change any information regarding the beneficiary while the case is pending at USCIS. I just called and was told the following:

Send a letter to the Office where your case is pending. This office is found on your Receipt Notice at the bottom left. Some how my petition was sent to CA (is this good or bad?). The letter should sate the Beneficiary's Name and DOB, the Petitioner's Name and DOB, and the new address.

I should have asked how how I can check if the information is updated.
