Help!!!

We've started the process since Jan 2009, and now I am preparing all the documents to be sent in for processing, but I am currently waiting for the Canadian criminal check record (but just realized that it will take at least 3 months!!!) Very stupid of me to apply so late!

I have already gotten the criminal check record from all the countries I have stayed since age of 16 (just France and Taiwan actually)

So here is my question, is that possible to send in ALL the documents (the only missing doc is the Canadian criminal record check) to the NVC anyway, at least they can start processing some of the documents, and then send in the missing doc when I get it? Will it take longer than to submit the complete application at once? Anybody has any suggestions?

Also, if anybody knows anyway to speed up the Canadian criminal record check, highly appreciated!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

No, you cannot send an incomplete packet. They won't start processing the packet until all the documents are present and accounted for. You are better off waiting for the police certificate

Good luck.

Just a thought. Here in Brazil we can get the criminal report from the federal police online. Have you check if that might be an option in Canada?

Good luck!

Hi Yalun

Just a question for you. Were you in Canada for more than 12 months?
