I have only played around with a Mac a few times and I was lost, it was so different than a pc. I mean, no right clicking? Right clicking rules. I like the iPhone, but I want it on Verizon, I won't use AT&T.

Gates is responsible for eliminating some odd 4,000 private software companies, but found Apple to be even more greedy in licensing out their OS to software vendors. Without that license, you cannot write software for the MAC.

Apple not only wants control over their OS, but the hardware as well, show me a company, like Sony, Toshiba, Gates, HP, Dell, Acer, etc., that is manufacturing MAC compatible hardware. We still have some free market choices in hardware for improvements and competition, don't see that with a MAC. And look at the available software for the MAC, practically zero compared to the so-called PC. Ha, that use to mean a personal computer, but MS changed that to a public computer.

Granted, a MAC is not attacked by hackers, not worth their effort, but that is the only reason, not that many out there, so just not worth their effort. If I had to rely on a MAC with all the engineering software I need, I would be dead. But guess it's okay if you just browse the web and send e-mails.
