Please share your insights about this poll. I believe this will help us decide which office will match our expectations.

there would need to be someone who has had the seminar in Cebu, and Manila to be an objective opinion!!!

True john & jean. I forgot to say that though but I think its already understandable that this poll will serve as a guideline for those who still have yet to decide where to take their seminar. I just hope we will get viable results.

Neither. I think they both should be burnt to the ground. Someone do us all a favor and put the torch to 'em. That way, the beneficiary can get their visa and be on their way.

there may be good info there. However, I think it is a last chance effort, to get the last money from most!!!

Sad but true as we are seeing more and more pinay that have to use the CFO phone numbers and info when they get to the US because of weird and abusive petitioners.

Not all are nice like us guys! :innocent::thumbs:

Cebu can ask for weird evidence like evidence of singleness of the petitioner.

My friend was able to reschedule her flight because of the seminar.

She was petitioned by an American before but they didn't get married and then she fell in love to another American and petitioned her. A day before her flight to US she flew to Manila from the province to have seminar. They didn't give her the certificate because they were asking for a formal letter coming from the petitioner that he will marry her. At the end, her flight was rescheduled... because no certificate, no CFO sticker.

But I know someone, without CFO sticker she was able to have her flight in US.... no certificate and no CFO sticker in her passport.

I hope they will be consistent about their rulings, be sure about the requirements....

The true answer is they both suck, I have had experience with both. The first time was in Manila, and was very bad for my then Asawa, even though we were already married they were recommending that she get an annulment, and start life over. (funny 7 years later she did fall in love with a local Filipino, and decided to stay in the Philippines) but they made her go back 3 or 4 times before they would issued the stamp, and she did not live close to the place.

The second and most resent one was in Cebu, even though she had the letter of permission from her mother they made her come back with her mother, and have her mother write, and sign a letter of observation, for when she met me, and how I interacted with my fiancée and the rest of the family. A key question that they asked her, what is the size of my underwear. They also told her as we, have a age gap sex will not be good for her, and tried to explain in medical terms ( LOL my fiancée is a RN).

So I really wonder what is their true purpose, I thought it was to educate them about the potential dangers of being in a foreign country especially without family or friends to contact, and how to contact people for help if you get in trouble, instead of trying to decide for them what is best for their life’s with out knowing anything about the other person involved. I could even understand if they mentioned things to look out for in the foreigner like tempers, or other signs of potential habits that could be bad.

Reality is it really depends on the actual person that does the interview, as my Fiancée’s best friend went on the same day, and was ask very few questions, and was given her certificate, and both of our situations were pretty close, age gap/prior divorce.
