W-2's for the I-134 support documents

I need to obtain new W-2s for 2008's taxes...since I can't find the W-2s. My tax person might have photo copies of them but is that sufficient?

Also, do I need a W-2 of my current job, even if it's not included on 2008's taxes? W-2s dont normally show up until January or February and her interview is going to be in January.

Photocopies of a W-2 for last year is OK... if you can't get them then order transcripts from the IRS

You cannot get a W-2 for the current year until Jan/Feb. Use a YTD earnings statement (pay stub) for 2009

Companies have until Jan 31st to get your last years W2 or 1099's in the mail

You can get tax transcripts from IRS that cover the need for W2s and returns. 800- 829 1040. Mailing takes about 7 days or they'll fax them to you while you are talking to them. All for free. Get the last 3 years while you're at it.

You can then scan or fax them to your lady.
