I just received an email from USCIS that our petition for I-129F was just approved on February 26!

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss! We get lucky too! I think my heart stopped beating for a second, hehehehehe...

Yeah, I feel both excited and worried as well. I have been reading the Oct/Nov/Dec filers and while most have their good news stories, there's still a few laggers that for no reason, other than government incompetence, are stuck in the long waiting process while filers months ahead are getting approved. I know me and my beautiful baby are staying upbeat and positive, but I also know that it could be a long journey ahead. We are bracing for a long wait and praying for a short one.

And my god! What is happening to VSC? When I filed in Jan, you guys were almost 10 days ahead of CSC, now it's fallen to about 16 days behind CSC.

I guess there's nothing we can really do for now but wait. It would probably help if I could see my fiancee, but at this rate I probably won't see him until May or June, blah.

I'm gonna guess that the blizzards we've had in the northeast haven't helped the process much. For a few days (at least in NJ) businesses were closed simply because they couldn't get enough employees in thanks to the snow. I'm not sure how bad it is in Vermont, but I know they get hit pretty hard too. February had 3 or 4 major snow storms, let's hope March is a bit more forgiving and that March brings plenty of approvals for both CSC and VSC!

Dikili is in north of İzmir west coast of Turkey..beautıfull place you can google it..and what about you?

5 months is too long for this process:( as long as aplicant ans petitioner is clear of crime should be fast enough,at least we are not planıng to go USA and get married there on tourist visa like many other do..... they must see that.

Yeah, I have google earth on my system, I was just being lazy and bored.

I hear ya! It's only been a little over a month for us and we're going crazy! Especially with some of these early approvals..

I'm in San Diego, California...just moved here from Alaska about 6 months ago. Was there through 17 winters! Now I live where there really isn't a winter

Well I'm just shocked... got the email that our petition was approved today. O_O Wasn't expecting this at the least for another month, 6 weeks, at the earliest.
