Hi everyone!

Just wanted to wish everyone a great few days. I'm headed out the door to go to Costa Rica for Vanessa's interview and I'll be back Thursday.

I want to see some more news of NOA2's by the time I return!!!!

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Still waiting too..... try to keep positive

Still waiting too....I am trying to be patient, it looks like there are quite a few of us around the same NA01 time that are still waiting. But I am starting to get annoyed with the Igor's list showing lots and lots of February approvals. Maybe this is our week.

Still waiting too....I am trying to be patient, it looks like there are quite a few of us around the same NA01 time that are still waiting. But I am starting to get annoyed with the Igor's list showing lots and lots of February approvals. Maybe this is our week.

Time for a little Woo-Hoo this morning. I received email from the Moscow Embassy, Olga's interview date is July 6, at 10:00AM! This will mean travelling on the July 4th weekend, but this is OK! :)

A quick recap of the timeline: April 30, NOA2, package enters and clears NVC. May 6, NOA2 letter received. May 7, called office of Congressman and faxed letter, requesting interview appointment in late June or early July. May 13, sent email to Embassy requesting status of case. May 18, received email from Embassy advising of July 6 interview date!

Writing to your Congressman does work!

I called Olga, and told her about the interview date. As you can imagine, she is very excited. A rather humorous conversation followed, as I tried to explain what "chasing dust bunnies" means. :rofl:

2006---We begin to talk about getting married

2007---I was going to met him face to face, but hurt my back couldn't walk..

2009---Was able to see each for the first time.. I got my engagement ring (WOW).. :wow:

2010-01-22 mailed I129f

2010-01-26 got NOA1

2010-05-12 called to see why no NOA2, I was told that our case is not being processed yet!!!!! No notes in the computer

other then the mailing of the NOA1!!!!!!! :angry:

2010-05-18 called SERVICE CENTER again to see what's going on with our case.. NOT BEING PROCESSED YET I WAS TOLD AGAIN!!!

2010-06-16 Got notice that NOA2 was approved 141 days after NOA1. We got our approval on Ossy's Birthday.. Happy birthday honey, I love you!!!!

2010-06-21 got NOA2 in hand

2010-06-22 called NVC to see if papers was there, but was told that my DOB was not right in the system. Just mailed a letter along with a copy of my birth certificate asking to change my DOB.. Way to go VCS..

2010-06-22 NVC received the case

2010-06-23 Case sent to Embassy in Barbados

2010-06-28 Embassy received our case

2010-08-09 Interview Administrative Review

2010-11-15 Approved for Visa (I was on the mission to make sure the INTERVIEWER that we had never interviewed anyone else and I did it).. Know that you have right and don't let the interviewer cross the line..

2010-12-10 Visa and Passport in hand!!! Thank God!!!

2010-12-19 Ossy will enter the States!!

Hi Folks! Been away a few days :innocent: Wilma and I were married last Saturday and she is starting to adjust to life in USA. Today is the first day for us apart since she arrived, I have to work, and she's already had problems this morning coz she can't get the tv on and she set off the smoke alarm... :hehe: But she does like life here so far and we have been enjoying to honeymoon. I hope all the rest of the January filers still waiting for NOA2s get them soon. :thumbs:

Finally just got a text from the USCIS...got my NA02! Yours should be coming! Our timeline is pretty similar! Hang in there!
