Awesopme news Bro! I'm SO happy that we're all doing this together at just about the same time. It's been a hell of a ride!

Johnny,

Will you still post as often when your beautiful fiancee arrives? lol... Wishing you the absolute best buddy! You deserve it1

Alan

I'm counting the days until I leave for San Jose. Flight leaves 8:50am on the 16th and I'll arive at 1:50pm her time, then go over our paperwork the nest day to prepare for the interview!

I have a question. Can my fiance fax me the form I 134?

Check and see if your embassy requires the I-134. Kiev did not. Only financial proof that you can support your spouse/fiance. In my case w-2 and tax returns.

Let's go, VSC. It's been a week since you began processing the RFE again. Pretty please make my day? Pretty pleeeeeeeease?

 Oh Johnny, you crack me up. Thanks, you both. I'm off to go pick out a dress for the flower girl.. I usually get updates from VSC when I'm at work or busy doing something outside the house, so maybe this will bring good luck. We'll see!

I have sent a letter to congressman asking for an assistance with the case two weeks ago - and voila! on May 4th the petition was approved! I am still not sure whether congressman's office really intervened, or it is just a lucky coincidence (I am on a business trip now, so I could not check my mail). Anyway, the goal is achieved! :-)

Congratulations, truemetal! I knew it would pay off.. or however it happened!

Also, I need some advice from anyone. I might have asked this in a previous thread but just trying to get another opinion or two.

My fiance moved house in the time that we got our RFE and I didn't want to screw anything up any further or delay it any more by asking for a change of address for him along with the RFE, so I'm wondering if I should just wait until we (sometime!) get approved and then call NVC and tell them about it, or if I should just contact VSC and ask now.. but again, I don't want to delay this long wait any more than I have to. Thanks in advance!

Not sure how your embassy does things. In Manila, we don't get a packet and we were instructed by NVC to wait for a letter from the embassy....telling us we can schedule an interview... well.... ahem...Wilma is traveling here in 6 days and we still never received our embassy letter. I just called the embassy when they received our packet and scheduled an interview. I really think Wilma's mom will get that embassy letter in her mailbox ooooohhhhh around next month sometime..:)

Anyway.....good luck to getting this done soon.....If your embassy specifically sends out a packet... I'd let NVC know when you call them.

You guys definitely brighten my day, but I'm sorry to say no news just yet. It has to come soon enough.. they can't keep us waiting forever! Or can they..? If not, we can arrange a riot in front of the building or fortress or wherever they keep all the unapproved petitions locked up and THEN they'll have to give us an NOA2 and then we can parrrrrr-tay!

Thanks a bunch, definitely made my day to see all the support and love in this forum as usual.
