Got a touch today.. I didn't think VSC worked on Saturdays. Good news would be appreciated, too, Vermont! Make those weekend hours worth it!

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Biometrics in Orlando: December 16th
Contacted congressman's office with inquiry to expedite AP: January 12th 2011
EAD approved: January 13th
EAD received: not sure, I was overseas, but I know it arrived between January 24th and 28th
AP approved - no update on USCIS; I was notified of approval by Congressman: January 13th
AP received: January 21st
Started job hunting: February 11th
Interview: March 7th @ 2.35 pm - GC APPROVED!
Received GC in mail: March 14th

I have a question. Can my fiance fax me the form I 134?

Your fiancee can not fax you or email you the I-134. Affadavit of support must have original signatures! Fax copies will not be accepted at the interview.

Ya got that right! Counting days, minutes seconds.....I'm even considering LA traffic on the way from San Diego which will be really bad since she comes in at 8:05 pm....and it's a 2 and half hour drive from San Diego without traffic......shoot... I may camp out at the airport a day early... :whistle:

But the ride back will be awesome!!

Hey Alan, I'm sure there will be a delay in my posting for a little while, but I'm sure I'll be hitting the boards once the honeymoon is over and we start chasing AOS, EAD.... :wacko:
