I was kind of surprised they picked it up so quickly again since on the RFE it said it would take at least 14 days before they'd return to the case.. but it only took 3 since they received it on Monday. Then again, I don't think any of us are too surprised that their numbers can be a little exaggerated.. :lol: maybe a VSC angel out there is looking out for me.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

I was just on my break at work today and I received a text that my case had updated. I checked and they received the RFE response and are continuing to process the case! :dance: I'm hoping the next time I get to use that emoticon will be when we're approved. I can feel it coming soon enough!

Yep, best get ready for celebrating!! Could happen anytime now! :dance:

Just wanted to happily announce that my fiance passed his interview today! So excited!!! :D

i'm worried the past days about the I-129F that my fiance sent to the USCIS because it is taking so long. we had our noa1 dated january 19, 2010. and the last time they touched it was january 22, 2010. after that we didnt hear anything about it. my honey called the hotline the other day and it was just an answering machine, my honey didnt leave any message. he's depress now. we dont know what to do. can someone help me about it? thanks..

I think truemetal is mostly concerned because they seem to be one of the last CSC filers to not get an approval yet, just like Alan was a few weeks back. It's common that people who applied in January from VSC have not been approved yet, but for CSC that's incredible.. unless I'm wrong. I'm sorry, truemetal.. maybe you can do what Alan did and write to your congressman? The worst that can happen is a no, but be persistent if you have to.. good luck, wishing you all the best.
