Yay! Good Luck!!! :star:

Thank you!

You know, at the medical, I guess a couple came up to him and asked if he was garnet80's fiance. This just blew my mind since I am the one that posts... that someone remembered our pictures so well and even my user name, wow. I asked, didn't that surprise you? And he was like, no... I don't know what you do on there! Lol.

This is so great that our little happy Jan filers group are all just about done with this part of the process. Nearly all of us have our NOA2's, some have their interview dates set and a few have even completed their interviews. It's amazing how far we've all come in just 4 short months (even though some times it felt like years).

After reading through our threads from the beginning, it's great to see how we've all been there for each other and supported one another in good times and bad. I for one consider myself lucky to be a part of the January filer's group!

I truly hope that we find a way to stay in contact with one another after our loved ones arrive here to be with us. I consider you all close friends and I love the fact that we can all understand what the other's in our group have endured because we've "been there, done that" together.

All you Jan filers are great people and I sincerely wish you life-long hapiness with you new families!

Alan

It's good to see that the jan filers are nearly there.. I received my packet 3 a few days ago & i'm just glad with all this time i have on my hands being off from work for the past 5wks after having major surgery.. The paperwork is coming together & even gone to the length to go to the doctors & get a copy of my immunizations record & get the vaccinations thats required.. This will save a lot of time & expense to get these done at the medical.. Now i'm just waiting to get the paperwork from my fiance & my future sister in-law to send over to me & i will then be ready to get my medical & interview booked.. I want to make sure i get all of this right & will take my time with it all.. I'm really getting excited cause we are getting there..

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

I was just on my break at work today and I received a text that my case had updated. I checked and they received the RFE response and are continuing to process the case! I'm hoping the next time I get to use that emoticon will be when we're approved. I can feel it coming soon enough!

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.
