We are now officially January 2010 Filers! SO very happy to join this group!! We've been working on the forms, collecting evidence, copies, letters of intent, etc. since December 6th. We've been reading about the Visa since September. So glad to get this moving and hope we all have a smooth, quick as possible journey so that we can be with our loved ones!

I mailed the packet yesterday afterwork at 4:10 p.m. via Express Mail from the USPS. The tracking information says it made it to Santa Ana, CA this morning at 6:08 a.m. :star:

K-1 Visa / I-129F

January 11, 2010 - I mailed K-1 Visa I-129F Petition Overnight Express Mail

February 25, 2010 - Notice date of NOA2 (read the e-mail notice on his birthday 2/26/2010)

May 12, 2010 - Interview - Approved!!!

May 25, 2010 - received Visa back in time to make May 26th Flight :)

June 9, 2010 - Married!!!

AOS:

November 1, 2010 - Sent AOS, EAD & AP to Chicago via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation

November 03, 2010 - Delivered 9:57 am, CHICAGO, IL 60603

November 10, 2010 - Received 3 e-mail & text message NOA1s from USCIS

November 12, 2010 - Received 3 NOA1s hardcopy in mail

November 19, 2010 - Received Biometrics appointment letter in mail

December 3, 2010 - AOS - I-485 transferred to CSC

December 13, 2010 - Biometrics Appointment - Milwaukee, WI - 10:00 a.m.

January 10, 2011 - AOS Touch - I-485 - Still in Initial Review

January 19, 2011 - Complete Congresswoman inquiry paperwork and deliver it to Congresswoman's office

January 20, 2011 - Received e-mail & text message saying status updated : USCIS says AOS approved & card production ordered.

January 21, 2011 - Received multiple e-mails/texts regarding updated statuses on both AOS & EAD, some confusing!

January 26, 2011 - Received Legal Permanent Resident card in mail.

ROC:

January 2013 - Filed ROC & Received approval in June 2013

N-400 / Naturalization:

2020 - Started Naturalization ppwk prior to COVID pandemic, and when we couldn't get passport photos at local AAA office - set it aside

March 2021 - Finishing Naturalization ppwk and filing ASAP

October 4, 2022 - ASAP turned into putzing and putting off...and finally filing on 10/4/22.

11/25/22 - Received notice of N-400 Interview on 1/5/23

1/5/23 - Naturalization Interview

2/9/23 - Naturlization Oath Ceremony

2016/11/18 — I-797C Notice Date; USCIS Acceptance Confirmation Email, case routed to Nebraska Service Center  |  2016/11/21 — I-797C Postmark

Sent the VSC a bulging envelope via certified mail yesterday afternoon. Step 1 of a long journey has been taken. :) Now to figure out steps 2 and 3 and 4... ;)

01/12/2010 -- I-129F Sent

01/19/2010 -- Date on NOA1

03/25/2010 -- Date on NOA2 (65 days from NOA1, gogo VSC!)

04/06/2010 -- NVC package signed for in Montreal

04/21/2010 -- P3 Received

04/30/2010 -- P3 checked in

Make sure, too, that you keep your NOA2 and DS-3250 because they will be necessary for the AOS.

We sent our I-129F 01/06/10 by UPS, signed by Stanley 01/07/10, Received our NOA1 today 01/15/10

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

After all the months of preparing our paperwork has finally been posted to Vermont :)

Removal of Conditions

09/03/2012 - Window opens

10/03/2012 - Mailed I-751 via USPS Priority Mail

10/05/2012 - Arrived @ VSC

09/19/2012 - NOA1 dated (actually received 11/7/12)

12/11/2012 - Biometrics taken

12/03/2012 - Conditional Green Card expires

Jan 13, 2010-arrived at VSC signed for by D RENAUD 11:41 AM

Jan 14, 2010- NOA1

Jan 19, 2010- Check Cashed

Jan 21, 2010-NOA1 hardcopy received

Jan 19, 2010-Expediate request medical and financial reasons

Jan 28,2010-New Expediate request since customer service agent did not submit correct info with 1st request

Jan 29, 2010-Received email from Vermont requesting evidence to support expediate request

Feb 11, 2010-Received letter via mail from USCIS stating expediate request was approved. Letter dated 2-4-2010

Feb 12, 2010-I129 application approved

Feb 15, 2010-Received email stating application approved

I received my NOA1 in the mail today. It definitely has made my day. It's kind of weird how just the receipt has made me smile so much. I knew they had received it, I had watched my checking account and had seen that the check was cashed. It's so great to finally have the process moving along. We've been talking about and preparing for the Visa for months, so it's nice to see it moving along!
