Yes you do, the I-864 is not the same form as the k1 affidavits. You need to send all updated information with the AOS ie updated paystubs updated letter of employment ( if you need one ) as well as the tax returns and the w-2s etc.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

When u say updated info, u mean the fact that I will be added as a dependant? I can understand updated paystubs, so I guess I'll go with that - thanks.

The 864 has a section where you add up the house hold now to include you and spouse. I would recommend using the guide on VJ to fill out the 864 some of the questions are kind of weird if you dont have an example of it. We found the guide for that perticular form really helpfull.

If you will think of adjusting status as a brand new process, it will help you get past wondering why you send in similar information. People adjust from many kinds of visas and situations other than K1s.

Also, the K1 visa application was sent to, and granted by, the US Department of State via the Embassy in London. Now you are applying for permanent residence to the USCIS, which is part of US Homeland Security. They are separate government agencies and will have their own set of rules and forms. You've proven support to DOS to get a visa to enter the country. Now you must prove support to USCIS to become a permanent resident.

We used the same supporting documents for both affidavits....tax returns, letter of employement...and they were fine because they were recent enough. But will filled out and signed a new form.
