Hey guys,

I don't have tax returns for the past 2 years since I didn't file...didn't make enough money to file/or none at all.

My husband supports me and I had money saved up from a while back when I was working in the states.

(We live in Argentina, one us dollar is equal to $3.85 pesos...so either way you look at it there's no money really present here)

Because of this my grandfather is going to co-sponsor my husband for the K3/IR1-CR who makes 125% more than the poverty limit.

I am filling out the I-134 and I am putting down all zeros in question number 7 where it asks how much money you have in real estate, etc. It also says:

I am employed as or engaged in the business of _____________________................

Do I just write unemployed??

For question number 11 it asks if I "intend or do not intend to make specific contributions to the support" of my husband and if so to state exactly how that will all be arranged.

I obviously will be helping my husband financially as soon as we get to the US but on paper, for now, I have all zeros and am unemployed. So is it pointless to say that I will intend to support him, even though I don't have any money (on paper, like I said). I can't say " as soon as I get a job"--semi ridiculous right?

Also, can someone reassure me that it'll be ok as long as we have a co-sponsor instead of my zeros on paper?????

I hope that your grandad earns more than just the minimum 125% as it will certainly look better...

As far as the income... If you do not have proof of employment or earned any income, then you have to put zero... I would however include a letter stating that you did not earn anything and were not required to file taxes but have the intention of working and are currently seeing employment. Although they cannot count future employment it does show character...

If your co-sponsor is OK then hopefully that will suffice them...

Refer to the example forms here on VJ as well. They can help you with some of the answers. Example I-134 >>>> http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

Unemployed is the true answer. Complete the form honestly and be sure that your co-sponsor includes all the needed documents with their I-134.
