I don't see how a person's sexual practices has anything to do with whether or not they are competent or qualified to teach children.

What do people expect - that teachers are like celibate monks?

And what does that have to do with the conversation?

The people in question are anything but Monks but thats not what matters, the fact that Obama's top guy to "keep Kids safe" is a flaming supporter of bringing bizarre sex topics (not to mention items) into the hands and minds of school children (via tax dollars).

Well there's no conversational implicature - if you don't specifically include in your post every possible iteration of interpretation it can apparently be quite reasonably assumed that if you don't say explicitly that kids shouldn't be given access to sexual paraphenalia via any avenue - that it must logically follow that you endorse it (outside of a school environment).

If the story was true, that this guy supported handing out sex kits to children for any sexual practice, homosexual or not then yes. However, I don't think there is much supporting evidence. There is a lot of hysteria, as usual.

No, it is this fear that homosexuals have an agenda to corrupt the American youth that fuels homophobia and allows for this type of non story to gain traction, even if only in the minds of the fringe nuts.
