I had my interview on the 23rd Nov, was told I was successful and would get oath notification in a couple of days. On Monday that will have been 3 weeks ago, I know that typically if I call USCIS I am going to be told to wait 120 days. But, should I wait that long? if not who do I actually call? There is a possibility that I will need to travel in January, and I would prefer to get everything sorted before then so I can get my US Passport.

The office I took my interview in does do same day oath, but because of my zip code could not give me same day oath and (I believe) have to send it to a local court house to my zip, so who do I call? do I keep waiting?

Thanks.

If you can I would make an info pass appointment, better than calling the miscommunication line. Perhaps going in person they may be able to give you an oath letter right then and there.

poster above is correct, calling likely will not help you. You will need to make an infopass appointment asap. http://infopass.uscis.gov/

Thanks, I was afraid that I might have to make an info-pass appointment. The office is a 2 hour drive for me, which pretty much means an entire day wasted.

Don't waste your time on Infopass - they will tell you the same 120 days bullshit there. Contact your Senators and get them involved. That was the only way for me to break through the USCIS desinformation wall when I was in the same situation recently.

Thanks, I thought I remembered reading that Fairfax took their time sending your oath letter as well... good luck for tomorrow (pretty sure I remember your oath date being 16th Dec).
