Passport change

Hello there,

My Philippines Passport will expire on 2012 and me and my american husband plan to go philippines in February 2010, can i still use my passport even if i havent change my name in it? i came here in US as Fiancee and now i am married but i havent change my passport yet to my married name im just wondering if i can use it still since i have already a greencard.

Another question pls, my husband petition my kids in the Philippines and all documents are now in NVC after they approved it . i need to know how many months after we submit all the documents can my kids in Philppines get an interview date? Please anybody knowlegeable about this help us. thanks and Merry , Merry Christmas to all!

if the greencard and passport names MATCH, exactly, then is no issue - just make sure the TICKET is in the name ON THE PASSPORT.

If they do not match, bring a certified (one with seal) marriage certificate with you. You'll need that , with the greencard, to get back into the USA.

to change passport name - go to a PI embassy in USA with your passport and marriage certificate and greencard, they will issue either another page for you in the passport, or a new passport, depending on 'how its done' there.
