still no change in the status on the website!

mine is still in "INITIAL REVIEW" !

but i imagine that with christmas they shut down for a bit and everyone goes on vacation. then it probably takes a few weeks for people to get back into the swing of things....

should we expect nothing until April then?

Well it can take up to 5 months so that would be april but as far as I saw It looked like the usual wait time was more like 3 months. Guess it depends on a bunch of things such as what service center yours was sent to ect.

April isnt that far away though :)

if you wanted to call, i assume you could call the number that appears on the NOA 1, but i do not think that is a number to inquire about forms.

you would think background checks would only take a day or less to do if the two countries have computer databanks!!! (-.-)

We got married on nov 28th 2009, they received all the papers on dec 22th, the check as been cash on dec 29th and they send us the notice the same day, so I guess we are on the december filler too.... Now we just need to wait.....

If they are on Oct. now, then we should see stuff by march and or april then? 2 more months.... then it takes how many months once it gets to the NVC? 2 months????

Hey all no noa2 yet for me however i have noticed alot of mid october to mid november people receiving their noa2's. Uscis usually takes up to 5 months but then things can go really fast so please get all your nvc paperwork together. after we are approved for noa2 they send it to nvc might take up to 20 days for them to input into their system. once they have a number for you, you can have the nvc part done within a month and all you will be waiting for is medical and interview. However if you want to do it that fast you must have all the nvc docs ready for when your i130 is approved as well as double check all paperwork before sending to avoid any problems.also remember everyones journey will be different. now that i have said that, i cant wait to get my noa2. good luck guys

2010-01-04: package arrived at USCIS

2010-01-12: NOA1 arrived Case sent to CSC

2010-03-22: NOA2 approval email and letter recieved

2010-03-24: called NVC got NVC#

2010-03-26: NVC message verified paperwork sent on the 25th

2010-03-29: Got email from NVC and paid AOS fee.

2010-04-01: AOS fee shows paid, and receive and paid IV Bill

2010-04-05: IV bill shows paid and NVC mailed packet

2010-04-26: Mailed I-864

2010-05-06: AVR stated recieved I-864

2010-05-14: NVC email stating need ds230

2010-05-27: AOS/DS-230 Mailed

2010-06-17: case complete!

2010-06-22: sign in failure!

Good news that November filers are getting their NOA2s hopefully next month will be our month! My birthday is March it would be a great birthday present :)
