Ok.

I called the USCIS number and got an operator (for the first time)

I asked her the reason why our I-130 is not approved and if something can be done from my side to speed up the process.

She mentioned that "there are variety of reasons" why my case is still pending and decision is not yet reached. She mentioned that I can't do anything as this point (other than to wait and watch).

Gosh, This waiting time is killing us.

Thanks.

the words in Bold smells to me that they are goint to request you more bonafide evidence..you said that you sent the marriage certificate but that is not OPTIONAL that is MANDATORY..optional are PHOTOS, LETTER ETC. you should have sent that all the documents that you sent to USCIS will go to your embassy..lets wait until March 20th if you dont have an answer call again and request to speak to an operator..good luck

Thanks estrellademiel.

Can I send the photos, letters, emails, joint account statements or third party affidavit (all optional requisites) as an addendum to the original application?

If yes, how and where can I send those bonafide evidences?

Will it help to speed up the process?

OR should I just wait for their request for bonafide proof and then respond?

The thing that makes me nervous is that there has been no touches or RFE created against our case since Dec 16th 2009.

I assume that because I have applied at Boston field office, it might take longer to get I-130 approved than others.

Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Thanks Darnell i hope i will have the approved of I-130 soon

by the way even i m still waiting for the approve of the I-130 form can i call the NVC to get advise or if there is a problem in the process that we have ?

You can call NVC, to get advice,

but most ppl read the NVC web pages over at

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

then they map out, on paper and pencil, exactly what they need to do.

Some people want speed at NVC, as well, so they study

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

and

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=3560467

I guess it's totally up to you, if you want to 'seek advice from a Serco Contractor at NVC, who doesn't really know the entire process and gives out the wrong answers' , instead of reading what the NVC employees AND VJ ppl have written.

TOTALLY YOUR DECISION !

Good Luck ! (or something )

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !
