my file was touched the first time on 12/7 then again on 12/8, but no email updates nor anything from the USCIS site.

It's been 2 days since the last touched, so has anyone gotten a notice before in the mail WITHOUT every getting an update from email, phone or the USCIS update?

thanks! I was so happy to see the touch, I figured i'd get an RFE because i forgot a signiture, i just wished the USCIS site atleast reflects that so I know it's coming.

I know I've read that it's happened to other members. Sometimes the website just doesn't get updated. As far as I'm aware the website is run by a third party company and there's no knowing if it will actually get updated or not. But for most people it does. However an approval notice CAN be received in the mail without being updated via email, text, or website.

But other than that, a touch just means they're working on your case. That's also a good sign. :)

don't get overly worried about touches. If after a period, say 30 days nothing happens, then look into it.

it's not like shipping FEDEX where you can check on it in real time.

Oh noooo :(. But at least you'll know what wasn't right and you can fix it quickly and continue on with the process.

Most RFE's are easily complied with.

How do I know if my case is being touched by the USCIS? I dont know about this..I have a USCIS account log in name though ...I dont know how to know if my case is touched or not....HELP
