Anybody who can point me the best websites to look for jobs here?

Or a reputable employment agencies?

I want to jump start my job hunting asap. I seem to be having trouble looking for reliable websites.

Thanks!

Many companies advertise directly on their own website and hire from applications they receive there.... I work in health care and that is almost always the case for this industry

hi.

I have applied to several jobs which were posted to some of these sites mentioned.

And 2 BIG companies has called my attention through email.

I took their online assessment, and fortunately I passed them all, but still noone is calling me for a personal interview or anything to the next level.

So I'm now wondering if they will ever get back to me.

Now, i found a part time job. It allows me to earn for the mean time while waiting for calls from some companies.

Whenever I was looking for work I applied to 4-5 different companies each day through one of the job search sites. Out of so many, you will get a call from at least one. Remember that you are no the only person applying, they may get a ton of resumes online and can only get back to a few of them. Also, make sure you have "key" words in your resume because the HR department of each company does not have the time to read every single resume, so they use key words to find the people they need.

You can use google finance, just type in the company, pull up the profile, look for the website (bottom right under website links). Go to company website and look for careers. Apply. Rinse and repeat. You can search a new company or look at the related companies and apply with them.

Example:

Bank of America: http://www.google.com/finance?q=bac

Related companies: Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Chase, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Morgan Stanley, General Electric, U.S. Bancorp.

BAC Careers (you have to search for it on the homepage, either key word search careers or find it on your own): http://careers.bankofamerica.com/overview/overview.asp

Some more:

US Steel: http://www.ussteel.com/corp/index.asp

AT & T: http://www.att.com/gen/careers?pid=9248

Johnson & Johnson: http://careers.jnj.com/careers/global/index.htm

Exxon Mobile: http://www.exxonmobil.com/Corporate/careers.aspx

Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Careers-University-R...;node=203348011

Travelers: http://www.travelers.com/corporate-info/careers/index.aspx

Ford: http://www.ford.com/about-ford/careers

Geico: http://careers.geico.com/

Etcetera!

when i was looking for a job, i wasn't really picky, so i checked company websites like walmart, walgreens, dollargeneral, etc, until i landed a job in a hardware store, its really hard to find a job that you like, i even applied at mcdonald's but i quit right away, i never thought i would last at a hardware store because i knew nothing about construction stuff, but i was surprised i got promoted to middle management after 2 months :)

I love to make people happy and amazingly enough nothing can put a big satisfied smile on someones face after a good hearty meal. That's why I love to cook.
