So, my I-130 and I-129F was approved last night after a few days of calls to the customer service center and talking to officers for service requests!

Awesome!!!!! YEAAAA!

Ok, now I'm trying to make up my mind K-3 or CR1.... Do I have a choice? Technically, the k-3 was for the I-130 pending...

I-130 NOA 2: 12/9/2009

I-130 NOA 2 Hardcopy Recieved: 12/15/2009

03/03/2007 - Flight out to States

12/21/2007 - Wedding!

04/29/2008 - AOS Biometric

05/01/2008 - I-94 Expired

07/22/2008 - AOS denied

10/28/2008 - In removal proceeding

01/14/2009 - Flew back to Brazil ;(

02/10/2009 - Hubby flew to Brazil ;)

09/23/2008 - I-130 sent

11/06/2009 - Interview in Rio de Janeiro - CO need an Advisory Opinion (sent an email to DHS with my I-94 and court order)

12/02/2010 - Hubby went back to the U.S.A ;(

Congratulations!

It's actually a personal choice but the CR1 visa is a much better visa than the K3, not to mention less expensive.

I think if we can we will go the K3 route. I just want her here faster, and the money is not a huge concern.

I think i will do the same. And even the money doesnt look like it is a lot more expensive. I mean what is about $1000 extra if you can get to have your wife come a bit early and get to spend time with her.

9/1/2009: Applied for I-130

9/21/2009: NOA1 for I-129F (CSC)

9/25/2009: NOA1 received for I-129F (receipt of mail)

01/08/2010 : Thank you very much Jesus..... NOA 2 129F

01/08/2010 : NOA 2 I-130

01/15/2010 : Embassy gets the approval notice (Awesome..Love K3...so glad we have done K3)

01/20/2010: Embassy schedules interview for K3

02/19/2010: K3 interview over and approved.

if you want to be together faster i would go with the k3 otherwise i would go with CR1 that way you get your working permit and visa at the same time.
