I received an RFE for I-693

"Submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693..."

I sent my I-693 with my AOS documents before, I received an RFE and I already responded to my RFE but not a full medical since I am a k nonimmigrant visa holder.

Anyone here had I-693 RFE and now approved? Did you get a full medical or just transcribe by the CS?

I am unclear about something in your original post. You got the I-693 and sent it in with your AoS package? Looking at your timeline, you had your medical for the visa Jul 21-22. That is good for one year so there should be no need for a new medical for the I-693, a simple transcription should suffice. Personally, for our AoS package, we sent in a copy of the vaccination sheet and got the I-693 after. We did not receive an RFE, but the interview officer at the AoS interview did ask for the I-693.

Hi thanks for the reply. Yes we filed my AOS package with my I-693 at first I thought the reason of my RFE was Dr. Arnold made my first I-693. I went to another CS and I didn't have my full medical since my overseas medical was last July but asked me to have another 2 shots. I already sent the response for my RFE.

I noticed that about 4 VJ November filer have I-693 RFE even they also submitted their I-693 with AOS package. Some who just submitted the DS form just asked for I-693 in their interview.

It says in my RFE " Submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693..." , so I do not know if my responds to my RFE should be the full examinations or transcriptions by CS...what I did is just the transcriptions.

So, you sent in the I-693 with the AoS, received an RFE, and then went to another civil surgeon to get another I-693 and they required 2 more shots? If that is the case, it sounds like your response was the proper one and that Dr. Arnold gave you the I-693 without two shots that were needed. I've read on these boards that there are some Interview Officers who are very leery of Dr. Arnold. I agree that it is painfully inconsistent across the board regarding other people's experiences.

Thanks again for the reply.

Dr. Arnold representative said I do not need any shots Tdap is ok for K holder, I had MMR and Varicella "VH" in the Philippines. Two times I sent my I-693 to Dr. Arnold because my middle name was incorrect.

I went to another CS to response to my RFE and that 2 shots that they required were MMR and TD almost the same as I had in the Phil. I had the shot and sent my new I-693.

I called the costumer representative yesterday and he said I do not need any full medical, I asked the reason of my RFE and he said it "might" be invalid. I read that some have their I-693 RFE but in their case I don't think that Dr. Arnold made it.

I hope they will accept my new I-693 because 2 times I sent I-693 1st page to Dr. Arnold, received an RFE, had another I-693. If there will be another RFE for I-693 well that will be too much.

It sounds like you've got everything in order then. :)

Thanks for your time
