I understand its better to get a bank letter instead of the bank statement. i called my bank and they want to know what should the content of the letter should be or what is it suppose to state. Please help. i am gathering my fiance's docs he has an interview in Feb 2010.

I sent a letter from my bank stating the date the account was opened, the number and dollar value of the deposits for the last 12 months, and I also included the bank statements for the last 12 months.

I sent a letter from my bank stating the date the account was opened, the number and dollar value of the deposits for the last 12 months, and I also included the bank statements for the last 12 months.
