Hope everyone is having a happy Monday! I am dragging so much this morning. This weekend was not relaxing, and the next 2 weekends I have wedding-related functions to attend for my best friend. I have already decided that I'm probably not going to get a relaxing weekend until my honeymoon in November!

I hope everyone is doing well. I keep thinking of Jess and hope she's safe and hope that Georges was able to get out somehow.

4/21/06 Arrival in U.S.

5/11/06 Legal Marriage

11/4/06 Wedding

Well the heat here is unbelievable. Yesterday was wonderful..I relaxed all day. I went through the box of goodies my honey sent me from the dead sea and gave myself a mud mask. Slept in, watched TV and saw the movie "You've got mail" for the first time :lol: In a way I'm glad I waited, I think having gone through the experiance I appreciated the movie alot more.

Today at work is GREAT. Peaceful, quiet, everyone is out of town this week at a convention. I went last year and I'm so happy I got to skip it this year. :D

Whew... running around trying to get all my nursing requirements deadline taken care of... just barely made it hehe.

Jess has been on the move for 2 days now. I am so worried for her. I heard they have many Americans staying in auditoriums, like a little 'cot city' in Cyrpess. I am sure she will have stories to tell when she comes back to VJ!

Geez, this sounds like post-Katrina set-ups... people staying in auditoriums and gymnasiums - I hope they are better cared for than the folks here were - that was a big nasty mess. :unsure:

I'm am constantly praying for jess and hope we hear some news soon.

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved
