"First world", "third world", "developing", "undeveloped" and "developed"... these terms are a bunch of PC nonsensical catch-phrases.

We all know there are only two types of countries: Countries where you're guaranteed a case of the runs for a few days when you visit, and those where you aren't.

Vote.

Wally, I thought you were going to change your avatar?

Yes. Although, to be fair, I get my fair share of diarrhea here in the good old US of A as well. :hehe:

Yuck! Change of diet needed?

The answer would generally be yep, but for whatever reason, it hasn't happened to me there. However, it happened to my 8-month-old, and I had to travel back to China with her having leaked on me. I had soooo much stuff for her in my carry-on, that I had no change of clothes for me. It got me empty seats next to me, though. A little trick if you are planning on traveling with a small child - let them sh*t on you.

Nope because I refused to eat . Had my last meal on the plane and chowed down like crazy on the plane back home.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

We are a couple from same country as AJ. We basically take some precautions (use boil-filtered water for drinking, or soda if we have to purchase) but if it hits--well, grit-and-bear-it.

Any new invasion of gut flora can and likely does cause the runs.

I think I may have had a previous strain of Swine Flue while staying for a few months. That counts for something.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
