Sent my wife's N-400 via Express to Lewisville,TX. Supposed to be delivered on Monday, but not yet. We called the post office in Lewisville,TX and was told that express mail to USCIS was transferred to a different location and our mail along with others is waiting for a pick up from USCIS. The post office person said they were getting a lot of calls regarding this. She said as soon as someone comes and picks it up it will show delivered online on post office's website.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It sounds strange to me.....

YES,

I had sent mine couple of months ago. I called the USPS and had the same answer from them. I told them that since I am the beneficiary and I am responsible for my package, which is why I am concerned. I tried to put a tricky situation on them, too. I told them that why would USCIS care to pick my package from post office, as they are not obligatory to pick my stuff. The lady was very nice and she told me that since there is so much correspondence or interaction with the USCIS, that they decided to do this way as you mentioned that they have a DAILY picking from the POst Office. And I assume that the USPS is not far from the USCIS either. If I remember, I called them around 10 am . My USPS tracking number was updated the following day with the SIGNATURE Confirmation from the USCIS the day I talked to the USPS people( which was the the day before).

I hope it might have cleared your anxiety. I would say not to worry about it. Just go on to the USPS website and check with the Tracking number. If it is updated, just make a PRINT OUT of that page for your record as I did. Thats about it !

Thanks

We never took USC seriously, certainly not like the AOS and I-751, what the heck, we were good for the next ten years. So just sent it off first class mail, did have a complete backup copy. We never received faster service from the USCIS from sending it this way, hardly two days later, they cashed our personal check. Another good way to get reliable proof they received it. Shortly after the NOA and biometrics appointment and before we knew it, the interview. Also has been our experience that the online status is nothing short of a bad joke.
