How to know FBI Name Check completed?

Does I-131 approved mean FBI Name Check completed?

Or

Does I-765 approved mean FBI Name Check completed?

or any other way to know.

I dunno if there is another way but when I did an Infopass, I simply asked. They looked up in their system and told me it passed the same day of my biometrics.

No way to know if it is directly completed. You can only know if your petitions are approved.

I got my AP approved on 14th Dec and EAD approved on 16 Dec.

Still not sure the Name check is done or not.

For getting an info pass Im not sure what reason to give.

I learnt that EAD, AP and I-140, don't require FBI name check before approval.

So still have to wait...

FBI fingerprint check will usually clear the same day as biometrics or shortly thereafter.

FBI fingerprint check is a different clearance from FBI namecheck.

And what if he wants to apply for his Citizenship ?? after he passing his test still he can get his aoth and his Certificate of Citizenship and appy for a U.S passport or he has to wait till his name got cleared??? i mean i dont know if the Citizenship difference than the AOS???

The green card can be issued without the checks being completed. Citizenship cannot be granted until all the background checks are finished.

My Wife gave here second finger print.

We were just wondering how to figure out if the second time it went fine or not.

USCIS doesnt inform immediately if the finger print goes fine or anything wrong.

Its 30 days since then and there is no SLUD or any response from USCIS.

She called FBI and asked the lady if she can just tell if FBI was able to read it or not.

The FBI lady said they could not read it second time also.

So we are preparing for the Police clearances.

Anyone who is undergoing the same can just call the FBI.

Tell them that you dont want to know the result but just want to know if it could be read by FBI or not.

If they could read you can relax else prepare for police clearances immediately without waiting for USCIS to ask you.
