My wife and her son were approved and she has received her visa already. Now I need to purchase their plane tickets. I am in the US, she and her son are in the Philippines. I called some of the airlines to purchase a ticket, but they all say I can not purchase a ticket for her, she has to do it from within the Philippines. I called AAA travel which I am a member of, and they said the same thing.

Is this right? How am I supposed to purchase her tickets? I guess I could just send her the money and have her purchase it directly. If this is the case, any suggestions of where I can tell my wife to purchase the tickets?

Thank you!

try expedia.com got really good deal. my husband booked the flight for me and gabby while we were in the philippines.

Ask her to call Alisto travel and tours at 02-8724633 and look for Lali. She can give your wife a very nice quote.

I purchased my ticket from their travel agency for only $535 including all taxes- one way (with first time immigrant). Your wife can purchased their tickets in a travel agency. Just send the money to her.

$535.00 is great price! where did you fly to in US for that rate? I'm getting ready to buy tickets for my fiance and her son.

I flew from MNL to LAX (Los Angeles) that was a very very great deal. But your fiancee has to be in the immigrant category for her to be able to avail this discount, plus there are just specific dates that Phil Airlines, or Hawaiian Airlines which are open for immigrant passengers. Ask and call some travel agencies.

What I did was I shopped around for airfare and asked every travel agency that I called "what are you dates that has first time immigrant discounts?:"

Louisiana was my final destination, so my husband just bought another ticket that serves as my connecting flight from LAX to IAH (houston, TX)

Wise ideas.

I bought my finacee and her son's tickets directly from the NWA website and didn't have any problems.

Just forward the itinerary to her email.

Also, you might want to check the bt-store..You can buy Northwest tickets there, cheaper than the NWA website. Just play with the travel dates.

I just bought tickets for her and her son through Best Travel Store, the tickets are cheaper sometimes. If you want to fly with 0 flights try to get PAL to LAX. NWA has layover in nagoya or tokyo. If she has not had some experience travaling, both of those airports can be intimadating
