I became a US citizen by naturalization 2 years ago. My sister and her family currently live in the US. Both my sister and her husband hold a G-IV visa and the kids are US citizens. I have a few questions:

a) Is it possible to only sponsor my sister and not her husband? The reason is that he still wants to keep the G-IV visa.

B) My understanding is that the process starts by filing an I-130 form. How long does it usually take for this phase to complete.

c) How long does it usually take after the I-130 phase is completed.

Thanks all in advance for the information.

c) How long does it usually take after the I-130 phase is completed. It takes about 10 years for a USC to petition for a sibling. Having a petition filed by itself does not give the beneficiary any rights to be in the US.

Thanks all in advance for the information.
